Bash Plates at 4x4 Offroad Centre

4WD bash plates

The underside of a 4WD takes a beating on rocky climbs, washouts and creek crossings. Bash plates add a tough layer between the ground and the parts that keep your vehicle moving.

What they protect

Depending on the plate, that can include the radiator, steering, sump and transmission. Front plates are usually the first to fit, as the front of the vehicle tends to make first contact with obstacles.

Some plates are made to order to suit your vehicle, and the lead time is shown on the product page. Freight is calculated at checkout.

Steel or alloy?

Steel plates handle hard hits well but add weight under the front end. Alloy plates save weight and won't rust, which suits vehicles that see a lot of beach driving. Check the material listed on each product page.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need bash plates for touring?
If you drive rocky or rutted tracks, bash plates are worth it. They protect expensive parts that sit low under the vehicle.
Will bash plates fit with my bull bar?
Most do, but check the product page for bull bar compatibility on your model.
