Ute tub racks

A tub rack sits over the tub of your ute and gives you a strong platform for touring gear without fitting a full canopy. It's a popular choice for carrying a rooftop tent, awning, recovery boards, fuel and water while keeping the tub free for drawers and a fridge.

Choosing a tub rack

  • Fitment: tub dimensions differ between models, so check the listed vehicles and years.
  • Load: plan for the combined weight of a tent, people and gear, and check the product page for load details.
  • Accessories: consider how you'll mount awnings, lights and recovery boards.

Complete the setup

Pair a tub rack with drawer systems underneath and roof rack accessories on top. If you're adding a lot of weight to the rear, look at lift kits with springs rated for the load. Some racks are made to order, and the lead time is shown on the product page.
