Extended shackles

Shackles connect one end of a leaf spring to the chassis and let the spring change length as it flexes. An extended shackle is longer than the factory part.

Why fit extended shackles?

Before fitting

  • Check your local rules on suspension modifications before changing ride height.
  • Make sure tailshaft, brake lines and shocks still have enough travel.
  • Get a wheel alignment after the job is done.
