Diff drop kits

Lifting a 4WD with independent front suspension raises the body but leaves the front diff where it is relative to the wheels. That steepens the angle of the CV joints, which can lead to wear and vibration over time.

How a diff drop helps

A diff drop kit lowers the front diff on spacers or new brackets. This brings the CV shafts back towards a flatter angle, which is easier on the joints and boots. It's a common companion to a suspension lift on IFS utes and wagons.
