Offroad Armour winches

Offroad Armour is a winch brand, and our current range from them is made up of two winches. A winch is one of the most useful self-recovery tools you can carry, letting you pull your vehicle out of mud, sand or a washout when there is no one around to snatch you out.

Choosing a winch

  • Rated pull: choose a winch rated comfortably above your vehicle's loaded weight.
  • Rope type: check whether the winch comes with synthetic rope or steel cable.
  • Mounting: make sure your bull bar or winch cradle is designed to take a winch.

Mounting and wiring

A winch needs a strong mount and a solid electrical supply. Most owners fit one behind a winch-compatible bull bar. Check the product page for what is included, such as the control box and remote.
