Fenders

The front guards are among the most commonly damaged panels on any vehicle. A minor bump, a kangaroo strike or rust can all mean a guard needs replacing, and buying the panel yourself can save money on the repair.

Brands in the range

Panel House supplies most of our guards, with plenty from Tong Yang and a smaller range from Gordon. We also have some Genuine Toyota guards.

Choosing the right guard

• Side: the right-hand guard is on the driver's side in Australia.
• Model and year: guards can change between facelifts, so match your build date.
• Indicator and flare holes: check the photos to see whether the panel has holes for side indicators or flares.

Painting and fitting

Most replacement guards come in primer and need painting to match your vehicle. A panel shop can paint and fit the guard, and check the gaps to the bonnet and door. Fitting it yourself is possible, but take care with the bolts at the top and the inner guard liner.
