4WD and car bulbs

Replacing a blown bulb is one of the simplest fixes on any vehicle, and upgrading bulbs can make a noticeable difference to how well you see at night. This range covers both.

Brands

ALTIQ™ supplies the largest share of bulbs here, with Michiba, Ledo Auto, Panel House and Bushdoof Lighting also represented. For LED options specifically, see LED globes.

Finding the right bulb

  • Check the fitting: the bulb type is usually printed on the old bulb or listed in your owner's manual.
  • Check the light: headlight, fog light, indicator and interior bulbs often use different fittings.
  • LED upgrades: some vehicles need an adaptor or load resistor, noted on the product page.

Tips

Replace headlight bulbs in pairs so both sides match in colour and brightness, and avoid touching halogen glass with bare fingers. After fitting, check your headlight aim.

You'll see the freight cost at checkout before you pay, and delivery is tracked.

Interior and other lights

Bulbs aren't just for headlights. Interior, number plate and reverse lights all use bulbs that can be swapped for brighter or longer-lasting options. LED bulbs can also help cut power use when camping with the interior lights on.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know which bulb fits my vehicle?
Check the old bulb or your owner's manual for the bulb type, then match it to the product page.
Should I replace headlight bulbs in pairs?
Yes. Replacing both sides keeps the colour and brightness even.
Do LED bulbs need extra parts?
Some vehicles need an adaptor or load resistor. This is noted on the product page where it applies.
